House Hunters filming Granville's homes in Fresno

Written by Business Journal staff

Granville Homes will be featured on the hit reality TV series House Hunters as the show films two homes in the Fresno builder's Copper River Ranch community this weekend.

The program, which airs on HGTV at 7:30 p.m., follows prospective homebuyers as they search for a new home with the assistance of a Realtor.

The public is welcome to come out as filmers tour three homes during their visit, including two at Granville's Copper River Ranch community in North Fresno on Friday and Saturday.

The Cottage 3 model in the community's Sageberry neighborhood is a spacious, two-story plan with three to five bedrooms and a three-car garage located in the back of the house to give the front of the home more character.

Ranging up to 2,279 square feet, Cottage 3 starts at $279,000.

The Encore model in the Tuscan Bluffs neighborhood comes in two to four bedrooms and a large kitchen with an island and a custom hood.

Encore starts at $329,000 and is sized at up to 2,016 square feet.

Both homes are decked with granite counter tops and a large front courtyard and side-yard addition. Also, they are built with 2 by 6 framing for added insulation, Low-E windows, and other energy efficient features as part of Granville's Eco-Smart design.

Both are located in Granville's 760-acre Copper River Ranch planned community built around Copper River Country Club just up the road from the River View Shopping Center and Woodward Park and nearby successful schools like Clovis West High and Valley Oak Elementary.

House Hunters will begin filming around 8 a.m. in Fresno. The show is expected to air some time in June or July on HGTV.
