Home prices in Fresno were up 8.1 percent in August compared to last year, according to a new report from CoreLogic.
Month-over-month, home prices in the city increased by 1.4 percent in August compared to July.
Excluding distressed sales, the year-over-year prices increased by 7.6 percent while month over month increased by 1.1 percent.
In California, home prices increased by 9.2 percent, or 7.8 percent excluding distressed properties, while nationally prices increased 6.4 percent. This change represents 30 months of consecutive year-over-year increases in national home prices.
